Caribbean premier league, Ambati Rayudu: Former India and Chennai Super Kings player Ambati Rayudu is ready to return to the field once again. Rayudu can become the second Indian player to play in the Caribbean Premier League. According to media reports, Rayudu has signed with St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots as the marquee player for the upcoming season.

Rayudu was signed by CSK’s franchise Texas Super Kings in Major League Cricket for the first season. However, Rayudu again decided not to participate in Major League Cricket as the BCCI announced that it was considering a cooling off period policy for players to prevent them from participating in foreign leagues immediately after retirement.

However, the decision on the cooling off period policy is yet to be taken by the BCCI. Now it will be interesting to see whether Rayudu is able to participate in the Caribbean Premier League or not. If Rayudu becomes a part of the league, he will become the second player after Pravin Tambe to play in CPL. Please tell that Rayudu had announced his retirement after IPL 2023. In IPL 2023, Rayudu played 16 matches for Chennai Super Kings. In 12 innings of these matches, he scored 142 runs at an average of 15.78 and a strike rate of 130.28, in which his high score was 27 not out. In the season, 9 fours and 7 sixes came out of Radu’s bat.

While talking about the entire IPL career, Rayudu played 203 matches. In 187 innings of these matches, he has scored 4348 runs at an average of 28.05 and a strike rate of 127.54. During this, he has scored 1 century and 22 half-centuries.
